Almuftah Group divisions showcase their furniture at INDEX Qatar 2017

Three divisions from Almuftah Group, one of the biggest business conglomerates in Qatar, have participated in the on-going INDEX Qatar tradeshow at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

Almuftah Carpentry, Almuftah Furniture and Decoration, and Almuftah Interiors have exhibited their design and products at the “newest and largest international trade-show for the supply of interiors and fit-out services to the commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors” in the region. The Middle East’s premier interior design event, the event marks the first time INDEX was held in the State of Qatar.

The inaugural event was officiated by Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al Thani and Hassan Al Ibrahim, Chief Tourism Development Officer of Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), the Omani Ambassador to Qatar Najeeb bin Yahya Al Balushi, and the Italian Ambassador to Qatar, Pasquale Salzano on its first day of exhibition.

Present during the tradeshow are Mr. Tarek Shehab, Manager of Almuftah Carpentry, Mr. Mohamad Al Shabrawi, Sales Manager, Mr. Ahmed Bajoory, Airport Showroom in Charge, and Mr. Mohamad Nabil, Designer of Almuftah Carpentry.

Mr. Tarek shared that “we are excited to showcase our products, and foster trade-focused networking in Qatar and in the region as a whole.” He also added that the Almuftah Group booth “is a one-stop destination for high-end custom furniture—from joinery, carpentry work, fabric, interior decorations, and other wooden works.”

Almuftah Carpentry is one of the most established and prestigious woodworking companies in Qatar, operating since 1975. Its factory occupies an area of 15,000 square metres and is equipped with the latest technology mass- and custom-production woodworking machineries.

The company, together with Almuftah Interiors, and Almuftah Furniture and Decoration, designs and builds custom doors, windows, interior home furnishing, mattresses, office furniture, exterior and solid wood flooring, kitchen cabinets, kiosks and exhibition stands, architectural products, toilet cubicles and urinal partitions, foldable room partitions, casegoods, and more.
INDEX Qatar will be running until November 15, 2017. Entrance for the public is free.
